Choose the Yozma IN 10 if…

The IN 10 makes more sense if this is your first powerful electric dirt bike or you prioritize manageable size and value over maximum performance.

Its 2,600W peak motor, 146 Nm of torque, and top speed of up to 40 mph already provide substantial power for recreational trail riding. At 121 lbs, it is also 22 lbs lighter than the Pro, while its 28-inch seat and smaller 14″/12″ wheels make the bike more approachable for shorter riders.

The IN 10 is especially worth considering if:

  • You are a beginner or developing rider. Its lower power output makes progressive learning easier while still leaving plenty of performance as your skills improve. Read our guide for entry-level beginners for more.
  • You are a shorter rider. Yozma lists a recommended rider-height range of 3.94–5.9 ft, compared with 4.7–6.3 ft for the Pro.
  • You want a lighter bike. At 121 lbs versus 143 lbs, the IN 10 is easier to maneuver at lower speeds and when moving the bike off the trail.
  • 40 mph is already more than enough for you. There is little reason to pay for a 50-mph bike if you do not expect to use the extra performance.
  • You mainly ride recreational trails and moderate terrain. Its hydraulic suspension, nitrogen rear shock, hydraulic brakes, and 30-degree claimed climbing capability already cover a wide range of off-road riding.
  • Budget matters. At the current listed prices, the IN 10 costs about $800 less than the IN 10 Pro.

In short, choose the IN 10 for accessibility, value, lighter weight, and easier everyday riding.

Choose the Yozma IN 10 Pro if…

The IN 10 Pro is worth the upgrade when performance, rider size, and more demanding off-road use matter more than price or bike weight.

Its 5,500W peak motor produces more than twice the peak power of the IN 10, while torque increases from 146 Nm to 220 Nm. Top speed rises from 40 mph to 50 mph. Those numbers matter most when you want harder acceleration, stronger performance under load, or more capability on rough and open terrain.

Choose the IN 10 Pro if:

  • You are an experienced rider who can use the extra performance. A 50-mph top speed and 5,500W peak motor make the Pro substantially more powerful.
  • You ride more challenging terrain. The Pro adds larger 17″/14″ wheels and an upgraded inverted hydraulic front fork, giving it a more performance-oriented setup for rough trails.
  • You are taller. Its 30.7-inch seat height and recommended 4.7–6.3 ft rider range make it the more appropriate choice for many taller adults.
  • You are a heavier rider or carry more load. Maximum payload rises from 265 lbs to 330 lbs.
  • Acceleration matters more than just top speed. The jump from 146 Nm to 220 Nm is significant and should be more noticeable during hard launches, climbs, and acceleration out of slower sections.
  • You want larger wheels. The 17″/14″ setup should provide a more confidence-inspiring platform over larger bumps and rougher terrain than the IN 10’s 14″/12″ setup.
  • You want reverse gear. In addition to three riding modes, the Pro includes reverse, which can make repositioning the heavier 143-lb bike easier.
  • You want the longest available range. Yozma rates the Pro for up to 60 miles versus 53 miles for the IN 10.

The Pro therefore makes the most sense for larger or more experienced riders who are deliberately looking for more speed, torque, terrain capability, and carrying capacity.

Rider Size May Make the Decision for You

Before comparing horsepower or range, check whether the bike physically fits you.

If you are under about 4.7 ft, the IN 10 is the obvious option based on Yozma’s recommended height ranges. If you are over about 5.9 ft and up to 6.3 ft, the IN 10 Pro is the better match on paper.

For riders between roughly 4.7 and 5.9 ft, both models fall within Yozma’s stated fit range. Your decision can therefore focus more on experience, terrain, performance, and budget.

Height ranges are only a starting point, however. Seat height, inseam, reach, riding position, and whether you can comfortably control the bike at low speed also matter.

Is the IN 10 Pro Worth the Extra Money?

It depends on what you expect the bike to do.

The additional cost buys meaningful hardware and performance upgrades rather than simply a different trim level. You move from:

2,600W → 5,500W peak power
146 Nm → 220 Nm torque
40 mph → 50 mph top speed
48V 23.4Ah → 60V 27Ah battery
14″/12″ → 17″/14″ wheels
265 lbs → 330 lbs payload
53 → 60 miles claimed maximum range

For a rider who regularly tackles challenging terrain or specifically wants a high-performance electric dirt bike, those upgrades can justify the price difference.

For a beginner or recreational rider who would rarely take advantage of 50-mph capability, however, the standard IN 10 provides most of the practical features needed for substantially less money.

What About Range?

Do not choose the Pro solely because its maximum advertised range is higher.

Yozma rates the IN 10 at up to 53 miles and the IN 10 Pro at up to 60 miles, so the difference in claimed maximum range is only seven miles despite the Pro’s much larger motor.

Actual range can vary considerably with rider weight, speed, riding mode, terrain, elevation, temperature, tire pressure, and how aggressively the throttle is used. A rider frequently using the Pro’s additional power should not expect maximum advertised range under every riding condition.

If maximum distance matters most, battery capacity and riding style deserve more attention than the headline range figure alone.

Which Is Better for Beginners?

For most new riders, the IN 10 is the more approachable starting point.

It is lighter, lower, less powerful, and substantially less expensive, while 2,600W peak power and a 40-mph maximum speed still leave considerable room for skill development.

The IN 10 Pro should not automatically be viewed as “better” simply because it is faster. Its 5,500W motor, 220 Nm torque, 50-mph top speed, larger dimensions, and 143-lb weight place greater demands on rider judgment and control.

Which Is Better for Adults?

Both can accommodate adults, so age alone should not determine the choice.

A smaller adult who values easy handling may actually prefer the IN 10. A taller or heavier adult may fit the IN 10 Pro better because it offers a taller seat, larger wheels, and a 330-lb payload.

For adults who already have off-road riding experience and specifically want stronger performance, the Pro offers the greater performance ceiling. You can also read our top 10 electric dirt bikes for adults review for more info.

Which Is Better for Teen Riders?

The standard IN 10 is generally the more logical model to consider first because of its smaller dimensions, lower seat height, lower weight, and less aggressive power output. Yozma specifically states that the IN 10 is intended for riders 14 years of age or older.

That does not mean every teenager should ride one. Rider size, maturity, experience, supervision, protective equipment, terrain, and applicable local rules all matter. A machine capable of up to 40 mph is still a high-performance motorized vehicle rather than a conventional children’s bicycle. Which Is Better for Rough Trails?

The IN 10 Pro has the stronger hardware specification for demanding terrain.

Its larger 17″/14″ wheels, inverted hydraulic front fork, nitrogen rear shock, 220 Nm of torque, and higher load capacity give it advantages where terrain becomes rougher or where stronger acceleration is desirable.

For casual trails, packed dirt, and recreational off-road riding, however, the standard IN 10 already includes hydraulic suspension, a nitrogen rear shock, and heavy-duty hydraulic brakes. Riders do not necessarily need the Pro merely because they intend to ride off pavement.

Final Choice: IN 10 or IN 10 Pro?

Choose the Yozma IN 10 if you want a lighter, lower, more affordable electric dirt bike for recreational riding, skill development, or a smaller rider.

Choose the Yozma IN 10 Pro if you are a larger or more experienced rider who specifically wants stronger acceleration, a 50-mph top speed, larger wheels, upgraded suspension, higher payload, and greater capability on challenging terrain.

The simplest way to decide is:

IN 10 = easier to approach + lighter + lower + better value

IN 10 Pro = faster + stronger + larger + more performance-focused

If you fit both bikes, do not automatically buy the Pro. Choose it only when you can identify a real use for its extra power, size, suspension, or payload. Otherwise, the standard IN 10 offers much of the same off-road functionality at a significantly lower price.
